Ferran Torres Completes High Profile Transfer to Paris Saint Germain from Barcelona

Paris Saint Germain officially completed the blockbuster signing of Spanish forward Ferran Torres from Barcelona on a five year contract. 

The 26 year old attacker, who recently scored the dramatic extra time winner for Spain in the 2026 World Cup final against Argentina, made the switch to the French capital for a reported transfer fee of 50 million euros. He has been handed the prestigious number nine shirt at the Parc des Princes.

The move brings about a reunion between Torres and PSG manager Luis Enrique. Enrique, who originally handed the forward his senior international debut for Spain back in 2020, expressed his delight over adding such a versatile and high caliber player to his star studded squad ahead of their ongoing campaign.
